Envirofest
May 2, 2009, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Located at Green Valleys Association’s 197-acre headquarters, the Welkinweir Estate property
I have been a part of the planning committee for this event for three years now and love the fun, value and "green" education I get from my planning and participation! Envirofest is an annual event put on by Green Valleys Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to
protecting, maintaining, and restoring the ecological integrity of watershed systems, while meeting the balance of environmental, social, and economic needs.
Through hands-on demonstrations, Envirofest promotes water conservation, energy efficient technologies and sustainable living opportunities.
If you're interested in volunteering or attending, please give me a call! The weather is usually stunning at the beginning of May!
